Radical Zimbo Of The Month

Our RADICAL Zimbo for the month of December is Desire Masuku. Last month when Desire was driving along one of Zimbabwe’s major highways, he came across 2 ladies in their 70s who were stuck at a toll gate as they had no bond notes/RTGS currency. The ladies were foreigners, one a first-time visitor to Zimbabwe, and only had
foreign currency on them. As we all know, foreign currency is not accepted at the toll gates. Desire stepped in and paid their toll gate fees and then offered to drive in front of them and pay at every toll gate until they got to part ways. Although the ladies did give him his USD equivalent, they were still touched by his generosity of spirit
and his positive, helpful ATTITUDE The best part is they have shared this story and now speak of Zimbabweans
as being helpful, kind and positive. If everyone could endeavor to be helpful and kind, we can restore hope not
just in our country but in humanity. It takes nothing to smile at visitors, be welcoming and show them that great
Zimbabwean brand of being a warm and wonderful people. Thank you Desire for showing our visitors ubuntu, hunhu hwedu. They are no doubt coming back and saying great things about our country in Uganda and France
because of your great ATTITUDE. You’re a RADICALZIMBO and we are proud of you.
